I am a husband, father, brother, son, teacher, coach and human being. When the dust settles in my daily life I try to be a writer. I’ll say try until one of my works is published. My two wonderful children, who I write a ton about, are still growing and provide me with learning opportunities. My amazing wife picks up the pieces the children and I leave behind.
This blog is my way of reaching out to fathers, mothers, sons, daughters. I want to enrich lives from an alternative perspective. Being raised by Jamaican immigrants, in Connecticut, living in a suburban town, attending a parochial school as a Protestant has given me a wide variety of cultural experiences. My perspective on life stretched further when I attended college in Maine and later settled in Boston.
I’ll do my best to keep posts riveting and worthy of time. Spending time reading is a commodity I don’t have the luxury of enjoying right now (growing family).
I hope you enjoy my anecdotes of fatherhood, coaching, teaching, gardening and constantly moving the needle of progress forward.
